Salsa Dancing in the Gallery

Join instructor Marissa Monteiro for Salsa Dancing in the Gallery at FAM. The event is happening on the September 4th Free First Thursday, from 5:30 – 7 PM, and will be held in the Ansin Gallery. 10 participants will be allowed to dance at a time for 15 minute intervals. 

Marissa Monteiro has been partner dancing since 2006. She competed with her college ballroom team at the University of Southern California while learning to social dance at salsa and swing clubs on the side. She taught and performed with Salsa Con Todo dance studio in Seattle, WA. She now lives in Leominster and is learning how to just dance for fun.

Sponsored by PosiGen Solar, Salsa Dancing in the Gallery is part of our new Free First Thursday community programming. The event will begin at the conclusion of the Fitchburg Cultural Council Public Input Meeting. Open to all ages. Salsa dancing in the Gallery will be limited to approximately 20 attendees so please sign up today!
