Drumming Workshop with Crocodile River Music

In connection with our exhibition FESTIVAL: A Celebration of African Art at the Fitchburg Art Museum, this hands-on workshop explores drumming practices that are intertwined with the visual art, cultural artifacts and musical instruments on view. Inspired by the music of Mali, West Africa, play African drums while you learn traditional rhythms straight from the source!

Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to attend. Advanced sign-up is required for this program and will be limited to 30 people. Please note, no tickets will be mailed.
